What is StormTunnel?

A native macOS app for reaching private AWS RDS databases and internal services through AWS Session Manager. It also handles traditional SSH tunnels when your infrastructure still needs them.

  • AWS Session Manager tunnels to private RDS, Aurora, and internal services
  • SSH tunnel support and ~/.ssh/config import for existing environments
  • Keychain integration — no plaintext passwords
  • Menu bar access for quick connect/disconnect
  • Auto-reconnect on connection drops
  • Import/Export for configuration backup and sharing

  • AWS RDS Connections

Connect to private PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Aurora endpoints through SSM.
